ANALOG DAYS

Today we are taking the sorted waste to a collection point. The two sisters help each other and chatter non-stop in the meantime. There is one small shop in the village, and some shopping is still being done. Soon we will go to Štephan's camp, and as a form of sponsorship, some extra products will be bought for him. The shop serves as both a post office and a supermarket and is really small.

A first stop after barely 25 km. The luggage isn’t secured properly. I change the position of the cargo straps and now take into account that my backpack is constantly pushing against and leaning on the travel bag. It has started to rain again, not really heavily but enough to make me concerned. At the same time, a blissful feeling rises from within. Traveling on a motorcycle, a Harley Davidson, truly gives a sense of freedom. The road is very busy and the gray cloud cover is getting thicker. Antwerp, the Kennedy Tunnel, heading towards Hasselt and then on to Liège and the German border. I ride straight through to Wetzlar and book an overnight stay there.
